This is your moment, and I want to capture it authentically, so I shoot with the amazing Sony a7RIII Camera. It is a highly specialized mirrorless camera that supports low-light photography with no flash or other lighting necessary. While I do have a flash, I prefer to utilize  natural light for several reasons. For one thing, as an event attendee, I’ve always found flashes annoying. Secondly, I am able to correctively edit photos in post-production to balance out most lighting issues that may be challenging. Third, not shooting with a flash means a lighter more nimble camera with longer battery life, so I get the angles I want and don’t have to change the battery at inopportune times.

Don’t want to miss a moment? I also have a backup Sony, the a6000. It is smaller and lighter than the a7RIII, and not as light-versatile but still a great simple camera to use. You are welcome to rent it to shoot with me as the second shooter, or I can (provided enough lead time) partner with another photographer who would use that or their own high-end camera.
